Prof. Ismail Musirin

Biography:
Prof. Ir. Dr. Ismail Bin Musirin obtained Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Hons) in 1990 from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, MSc in Pulsed Power Technology in 1992 from University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom and PhD in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia in 2005. He is currently a Professor of Power System at the School of Electrical Engineering (formerly known as the Faculty of Electrical Engineering), College of Engineering, UiTM and headed the Power System Operation (POSC) Computational Intelligence Research Group. He has published over 400 papers in international indexed journals and conferences. He has been given the opportunity to review papers in IEEE Transactions, Elsevier Science, WSEAS, John Wiley, IET and some other publishers. He has chaired more than 20 international conferences since 2007. To date, he has delivered keynote speeches at Cambridge University, United Kingdom, Dubai, Korea, China, India, Indonesia and Malaysia. His research interest includes Power System Stability, Distributed Generation Optimization, Artificial Intelligence Applications, Optimization Algorithms Derivations and Machine Learning Applications.
Assoc. Prof. Chee-Onn Chow (IEEE Senior Member)

Biography:
Chee-Onn Chow earned his Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) and Master of Engineering Science degrees from the University of Malaya, Malaysia, in 1999 and 2001, respectively. In 2008, he completed his Doctorate in Engineering at Tokai University, Japan. He joined the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Malaya in 1999 and is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the same department. His research interests encompass wireless communications and networks, multimedia applications, data analytics, and artificial intelligence. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and a registered Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia.
Assoc. Prof. Syed Abdul Mutalib Al Junid (IEEE Senior Member)

Biography:
Dr. Syed Abdul Mutalib Al Junid is an expert with extensive experience in the design and integration of embedded systems and energy storage systems. He currently serves as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia.
Beyond academia, Dr. Syed Abdul Mutalib has substantial industry consulting experience. He served as a Consultant at the International Center for Casemix and Clinical Coding (ITCC) for seven years and provided technical consulting services to the United Nations University International Institute for Global Health (UNU-IIGH). His expertise spans embedded systems, integrated circuit design, and energy storage technologies.
He is a certified Professional Technologist and Professional Engineer, accredited by the Malaysia Board of Technologists and the Board of Engineers Malaysia, respectively. Additionally, he is a Senior Member of the IEEE, actively participating in international academic exchanges and technical collaborations.
Dr. Syed Abdul Mutalib is highly regarded in the field of electrical engineering for his outstanding academic contributions and practical expertise, dedicating himself to advancing technological innovation and talent development.
Prof. Jeyraj A/L Selvaraj (IEEE Member)

Biography:
Jeyraj Selvaraj received the B.Eng. (Hons.) degree in electrical engineering from Multimedia University Cyberjaya, Malaysia, in 2002, the M.Sc. degree in power electronics and drives jointly from the University of Birmingham, Birmingham, U.K., and the University of Nottingham, Nottingham, U.K., in 2004, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in 2009. ,He is currently an Associate Professor and the Deputy Director with the University of Malaya Power Energy Dedicated Advanced Centre, University of Malaya. His research interests include solar system, single- and three-phase multilevel inverters, digital current-control techniques, photovoltaic inverters, and dc–dc converters.,Dr. Selvaraj is also a member of working group on solar photovoltaic system in Malaysia. He was one of the recipients of the NAM research training fellowship for young scientist in 2016.

Farhad Shahnia (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical power engineering (first class Hons.) from the University of Tabriz, Tabriz, Iran, in 2004 and 2006, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, QLD, Australia, in 2011. He is currently an Associate Professor with Murdoch University, Perth, WA, Australia. His research interests include distribution networks, power quality, and application of power electronic in power systems.
Prof. Gordana Jovanovic Dolecek (IEEE Senior Member)

Gordana Jovanovic Dolecek received her B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Sarajevo, and her M.Sc. degree from the University of Beograd, all in electrical engineering. In 1995 she joined Institute INAOE, Department for Electronics, Puebla, Mexico, where she works as a full professor. She is author/coauthor of more than 70 journal and 400 conference papers, and the author of the book Random Signals and Processes Primer with MATLAB (Springer, 2013). She is an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems-I: Regular Papers and II: Express Briefs, IEEE Circuits and Systems Magazine, and IET Signal Processing. Her research interests include digital signal processing, digital communications, and ML and applied mathematics in digital signal processing and digital communications.

Biography:
M. Prabhakar received the B.E. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the University of Madras, Chennai, India, in 1998, the M.E. degree in power electronics and drives from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, India, in 2000, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Anna University, Chennai, in 2012.,He started his teaching career as a Lecturer, in 2000. Since 2012, he has been an Associate Professor with the School of Electrical Engineering (SELECT), Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai. Since 2019, he has been working as a Professor and is associated with the Centre of Smart Grid Technologies, since May 2022. He has coauthored about 45 research papers in various reputed journals and conferences. His research interests include power electronics, power converters, high-gain dc–dc converters, and dc microgrids. He was a recipient of the Outstanding Teacher Award for his excellent teaching and research contributions in 2009 and the Research Award which is awarded by the Vellore Institute of Technology for his research contributions continuously since 2012. He is an active reviewer of various reputed journals.
