第四届电力工程与电气技术国际学术会议(ICPEET 2025)于2025年7月18-20日在内蒙古呼和浩特圆满落幕
由智慧储能研究院、内蒙古工业大学电力学院、大规模储能教育部工程研究中心、内蒙古科技大学、澳大利亚莫道克大学和加利福尼亚大学尔湾分校联合支持的第四届电力工程与电气技术国际学术会议(ICPEET 2025)于2025年7月18日至20日在中国·呼和浩特市成功召开。会议围绕电力工程与电气技术前沿领域,吸引了来自内蒙古工业大学、内蒙古科技大学、清华大学、天津大学、广西电网有限责任公司、澳大利亚莫道克大学等近百名专家学者、技术研发人员及企业代表参会交流。
会议伊始,内蒙古工业大学电力学院院长刘广忱教授代表主办方致欢迎辞,简要介绍了会议的主旨以及学院的发展概况,并对参会代表表示热烈欢迎和衷心感谢。他指出,本次大会为业内专家学者搭建了一个交流科研成果、分享技术创新的重要平台,期待通过广泛合作促进电力工程与电气技术领域的持续进步。
大会期间,四位专家围绕关键技术和前沿热点作了精彩主题演讲。澳大利亚莫道克大学Farhad Shahnia教授带来《电力系统中基于逆变器的资源(IBRs)应用与智能控制》报告。

7月19日下午,参会者一行前往智慧储能研究院和大规模储能教育部工程研究中心参观,王顺利教授陪同实地考察了研究院先进的仪器设备与科研环境,增进了与科研团队的交流与合作,推动了学术与应用的深度融合。
本次ICPEET 2025会议交汇了来自高校、科研院所及电力企业的优秀人才,现场学术氛围浓厚,促进了多领域专家的深入交流与合作。会议的圆满成功,彰显了呼和浩特作为区域学术交流重要城市的影响力,也为电力工程与电气技术领域的创新发展注入了新的动力。

The 2025 4th International Conference on Power Electronics and Electrical Technology (2025 4th ICPEET) Successfully Concluded in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, July 18-20, 2025
The 2025 4th International Conference on Power Electronics and Electrical Technology (ICPEET 2025), jointly supported by the Smart Energy Storage Institute, College of Electric Power of Inner Mongolia University of Technology, Engineering Research Center of Large Energy Storage Technology, Ministry of Education, Inner Mongolia University of Science & Technology,Murdoch University (Australia), and the University of California, Irvine, was successfully held from July 18 to 20, 2025, in Hohhot City, Inner Mongolia, China. Centered on cutting-edge fields in power electronics and electrical technology, the conference attracted nearlya hundred experts, scholars, technical researchers, and industry representatives from Inner Mongolia University of Technology, Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology, Tsinghua University, Tianjin University, Guangxi Power Grid Co., Ltd., Murdoch University, and other institutions for academic exchange.
At the opening of the conference, Prof. Liu Guangchen, Dean of the College of Electric Power of Inner Mongolia University of Technology, delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the organizers. He briefly introduced the conference’s theme and the development overview of the school, extending warm welcome and sincere gratitude to all participants. He emphasized that this conference provided an important platform for experts and scholars in the field to exchange research outcomes and share technological innovations, looking forward to promoting continuous progress in power electronics and electrical technology through broad collaboration.
During the conference, four distinguished experts delivered keynote speeches focusing on key technologies and frontier topics as follows:
(1) Prof. Farhad Shahnia, Murdoch University, Australia, presented on“Inverter-based Resources (IBRs) Uptake and Intelligent Control in Power Systems.”
(2) Assoc. Prof. Luoping Zhang, Tsinghua University, China, shared innovative research on“New Power System Architecture for Homestay Microgrid.”
(3) Assoc. Prof. Qian Xiao, Tianjin University, China, introduced“Research on Optimal Control Technologies for AC/DC Distribution Systems with Multi-level Accommodation of Distributed Generation.”
(4) Prof. Shunli Wang, Inner Mongolia University of Technology, China, delivered a keynote on“Electrical Characteristic Modeling and Situation Awareness of Large-scale Energy Storage Systems.”
Additionally, eight young scholars delivered oral presentations covering several high-level research directions, including deep learning-based intelligent detection, load anti-sway control, critical link identification in integrated energy systems, and smart distribution network optimization. The discussions onsite were enthusiastic and lively. Six poster sessions also attracted wide attention from attendees, showcasing a variety of rich scientific research achievements.
On the afternoon of July 19, participants visited the Smart Energy Storage Institute and Engineering Research Center of Large Energy Storage Technology, Ministry of Education. Prof. Wang Shunli accompanied the visit and inspected the advanced instruments and research environment of the institute, enhancing exchanges and cooperation with the research teams and promoting the deep integration of academia and practical applications.
ICPEET2025brought together outstanding talents from universities, research institutes, and power enterprises, creating a vibrant academic atmosphere that facilitated in-depth communication and cooperation among multidisciplinary experts. The successful conclusion of the conference highlighted Hohhot's influence as an important regional hub for academic exchange and injected new impetus into the innovative development of power electronics and electrical technology.
